Donate books to the Zentrale Hochschulbibliothek

You can offer us media that complement our media collection.
However, please always contact us in advance about intended donations. This will avoid unnecessary effort on both sides.

The media must correspond to our acquisition profile, which is primarily orientated towards the focal points of research, teaching and study at the Europa-Universität Flensburg and the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. They must also be in a good state of preservation.

• Please contact us in advance by email (erwerbung@zhb-flensburg.de). We need a list of the books you wish to donate.
• Duplicates and previous editions are generally not accepted.
• Transport is the responsibility of the donor. Reimbursement of costs is not possible.
• Unclaimed donations cannot be returned.
• Conditions attached to the donation (e.g. special labeling, separate or closed display, restrictions on use) cannot be accepted.
• By handing over the media, the donor submits a written declaration (PDF), according to which the Zentrale Hochschulbibliothek Flensburg is irrevocably granted unrestricted power of disposal over the media. The library may dispose of the donations as it sees fit.
• Do not send unsolicited media to the Zentrale Hochschulbibliothek Flensburg. Unsolicited media can be maculated by the library without further consultation.
